This lesson my group did the evaluation for the summary on the website we chose on the wiki forum.
There is one important thing I've learnt throughout this module, evaluation of internet resources. It is important because we learnt how to acknowledge its credentials and then weigh its importance and accuracy. Currency is also taken into consideration. In order to maximize the usage of the internet resources, it is important to know its purpose, coverage, usability, etc. From this, we are able to value the importance of resource and fully make use of them.

Today there is class test 2. After which, we are supposed to evaluate the resources found using given criteria. We also completed our group assignment by compiling our bibliography.

Today's practical lesson is v enriching because I didn't know that there are so many different types of Internet facilities - Search engines, Meta search engines, Subject directories and Databases. Most of the time when I do my research, I would use the search engine like Yahoo! or Google. However, today's lesson allow me to expand the usage of these various facilities. It is also the first time I use subject directories and databases. This lesson allow me to understand the similarities and differences between the different types of internet facilities, and how I can make use of them for my research topic.
For the topic, I had chosen - discuss the impact of the Integrated Resort (IR) on Singapore’s tourism industry.

This practical lesson taught me how to identify and compare the different purposes of Internet resources I had also learnt how to do a citation of Internet.
On top of that, I had learnt how to add a site feed to 2 of my friend's blog.
